Paris

In the hotel in Brussels Jimmy, James and I shared a room. Alea, Mia, Umma and Halmony had a second room a floor below us.

We went to sleep around midnight and got up at 6 so that we could leave at 7. My roommates were ready to go at 7. The other room (Alea and Mia) were not. So we left the hotel later than planned but we got to our train on time.

Once in Paris we saw Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triumphe, the pyramids at the Louvre, the Champs Elysees, and the prison where revolutionaries were held before they were beheaded. Marie Antoinette was a guest there. We also went to a depressing Holocaust memorial where we were berated by a guard for not understanding her accented English. It was surprisingly the only instance of Parisian snobbery we experienced all day.

Today we are heading to Amsterdam. Alea, Mia and I are staying in a hostel. Hopefully we don't have to hide our valuables in our anuses.

Funny story: We missed our train at 8:50, but we managed to hop on the 9:50 train. However we need to give up our seats if someone comes aboard and we are in their seats. So we're playing a somewhat less dangerous form of Russian Roulette. Umma amd Halmony already lost their seats and we have one more stop before our destination, so we'll see who else gets tossed.

Until next time, LAWL EUROPE!
