Travel Day

Jimmy and I left San Francisco at 2pm on Sunday the 31st. The flights to Chicago, London, and Brussels were uneventful except for the attendant on our way to Chicago who was threatening to kick some Chinese kids off the plane for not following her instructions. I don't think they could understand her.

I didn't get any sleep as of this post, so I've been up for over 24 hours. The movies on the trip to London were enjoyable though.

Alea picked us up from the Brussels airport, and after dropping off our suitcases at the hotel, everyone left to see the town. Belgium is known for their waffles and they invented french fries. Our dinner was an eclectic mix of kabobs and mussels, another local gem, and fries. Once we were done eating we went to find the famous statue of the peeing boy. On the way we picked up multiple waffles.

After seeing the peeing statue, we went to find the church we could pee on. This town is big on urination. The church was being renovated so no luck peeing on a church.

Tomorrow is an early day as we leave on an 8am train for Paris. Hopefully I'm not too jet lagged on the morrow.

Until next time, LAWL Europe!

  1. Do their fries taste like American fries? or more like poutine?

  2. They are made with love and offer different types of sauces. A little less salty too. The thing to do is just get a cone of them and eat them on the go.
